Langtang Valley Trek - 11 Days
Langtang Valley Trek is one of the shortest trekking routes in Nepal and it is the most nearest valley from Kathmandu. However, it is very wildest like Manaslu Region and Rara Region of Nepal. By a few hours’ drive from Kathmandu, you can reach in Langtang Region. The langtang valley is located near at the border of Tibet. The majority of Tamang Inhabitants live in Langtang Region. The people living on Langtang Valley look like Tibetan because they are of Tibetan Origin.
Langtang Valley is inside Langtang National Park. So our whole trip walks through the Langtang National Park. The majestic waterfalls, Rhododendron and Bamboo forest make this trip one of the most exciting trekking. You also get chance to see wildlife. The animals including Himalayan Thar, Red Pandas like endangered species can be found in Langtang National Park.
Basically, Langtang Valley Trek can be completed in 11 days. The trek starts with ride from Kathmandu to Syprubeshi. In between, you are blessed with gorgeous landscape view of greenery hills and forests as well as plain villages (Called Taar in Nepali Language). Then we walk toward final destination i.e Langtang Valley passing through Lama Hotel. We also return back through same route after exploring Langtang Valley.
Note: Let me make you know you one thing that Langtang Valley was actually badly affected by Earthquake 2015. Hundred more people died by the quake. However, it has been rebuilding now. National and international communities are helping to rebuild it. So, its charm has not been collapsed. And I would also like to let you know that Langtang Valley Trip is as safe as it was before the quake.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Valley
One of our representatives will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Preparing for next day’s trip – Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu
Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour
Kathmandu city tour covers 4 UNESCO heritage sites in Kathmandu valley and they are Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. We wake up early morning and have breakfast. Then you are taken to these 4 sites. First of all, we visit Boudhnath Stupa which is one of the biggest stupa in Nepal. It is a sacred place for Buddhists. Then we move toward Pashupatinath Temple which is holy place of Hindus. Pashupatinath is visited by thousands of people daily. People from India come to visit this place because Pashupatinath is one the great PITH of Hindus. Pashupatinath area is also corpse combustion place which is called Aryaghat. Now you are taken to Durbar Square, there you can see monuments and durbars of ancient Nepal. After that, we go to visit Swayabhunath Temple which is about 5 KM far from Durbar Square. Day 03: Kathmandu to Syaprubeshi Drive (1550m)
We wake up early morning and have breakfast, then move toward our initial journey to Syaprubesi. We make a drive from Kathmandu to Syaprubesi which takes nearly 6-7 hours by bus. On the way of Syaprubesi, you can see several beautiful rural villages and rivers. We drive along the Trishuli River until we reach on Dhunche. Overnight in Syaprubesi
Day 04: Syaprubesi to Lama Hotel (2560m)
Today is the day of our initial trek which takes you from Syaprubesi to Lama Hotel. Within 6 hours, you reach to Lama Hotel crossing several suspension bridges, tea hours and forests. Overnight in Lama Hotel
Day 05: Lama Hotel to Mundu 3543m via Langtang Village 3430m
We make our further trek moving from Lama Hotel to Mundu. In between, we passes Langtang village. In earthquake 2015, the Langtang Village had been badly affected. 400 people of this village alone lost their lives. However, it is now trying to forget that tragic happening. Overnight in Mundu
Day 06: Mundu to Kyanjin Gompa 3870m
As usual, we make our further trek after having breakfast. But today’s trek is special because we are moving toward the principle monastery of the Langtang Region i.e Kyanjin Gompa. After 3 hours long trek, we reach in Kyanjin Gompa and rest of the day we explore the whole area. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa
Day 07: Kyanjin Gompa to Tserko Ri 5005m
Today, we achieve the highest elevation of the trip. Early morning, we hike to Tserko Ri which is situated at the altitude of 5005m. So, you can feel thin air here. If all weather is good, you will be blessed with magnificent sunrise view. After enjoying stunning mountain views from Tserko, we descend back to Kyanjin Gompa. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa
Day 08: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel
Today, we set to come back to Kathmandu and make our trek back from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel after having breakfast. After 6-7 hours walk, we reach on Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel
Day 09: Lama Hotel to Syaprubesi
Day 10: Syaprubesi to Kathmandu Drive Back
Day 11: Final Departure
Finally, our trail comes to end. One of our representatives will transfer you to the airport. Now we have lot of time to prepare for your another trail in Nepal Himalaya.

Trekking to Himalayas is so strenuous. So you have to keep some equipment to be safe during the journey. That is why we advise you to have needed things. Trekking gears can be rented from Nepal too, so you should not take it from your home.

Porter and Guide Service:
If you have less experience of hiking in Himalaya, then you should first think about your health. You may not be able to carry your bag. So, we arrange a guide and a porter to you to carry your luggage and to guide you in the Himalaya. A porter can carry only up to 20 kilos.
You get single room accommodation in Kathmandu valley. But, when you are on the way of langtang trekking, you should stay in lodge and tea houses because there is no luxurious hotel in the Langtang Region. However, you can get good accommodation service there. Most time, you should stay in shared room, which might bring closeness and friendliness to each members of the group.
You get to enjoy typical Nepali foods during the trek in the Langtang as well as common continental food like Tibetan and Indian food. All 3 times meals are provided during the trek. But, in Kathmandu, only breakfast is included.
Pick up and drop off service from/to Airport are included. Private vehicle service is provided for Kathmandu sightseeing tour. And either a private vehicle or a tourist bus is provided to drive from Kathmandu to Syaprubeshi.
Best Season to Travel:
Of course, spring and autumn are the best seasons to travel in Nepal Himalaya because the weather use to be very clear and sunny in these days. However, you can make your trip all the time in Nepal.
