Lobuche Peak (6,119m) is an adventure trekking peak which lies on the way to the world’s tough Everest Base Camp Trek. This peak was first climbed by the two-adventure climbing lover Mr. Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa in 25th April 1984. After climbed by them, this peak is very famous for those who wants to take an adventure climbing experience in life. Lobuche east is the most climbed peak than the Lobuche west in the Nepal Mountaineering Association of Nepal (NMA) record.
Lobuche peak is situated just above the Lobuche village which is very near from the world’s famous Khumbu Ice-Fall and Khumbu Glacier. So, if you join to climb Labuche peak, you first trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) then hiking to Kalapattar (5,545m) which helps to acclimatize to climb Lobuche peak. At Lobuche base camp, there is not available for the tea house and hotels so you should have to eat and sleep in the tend for 2-3 days with our climbing crew members but don’t worry, we organize everything which is needed for us such as tea, coffee, soups, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You get yourself on the middle of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Makalu and several neighboring angelic white hills. Not only that, Labuche peak is the most popular acclimatization climbing peak among the Mt. Everest Expedition groups nowadays than the famous Imjaptse valleys’s Island Peak climbing.

About the high-altitude sickness
High altitude sickness is the major problem in the Himalayas in the world. I personally don’t recommend to trek and climb the peak if you have some problem such as heart, brain or deep injured body part, high blood pressure or so on. There are so many causes to become high altitude sickness while ascending in the Himalayas. The major problem is thin air with open body parts. If you maintain to eat foods, drink sufficient liquids, use warm clothes and walk slowly with maintaining the altitude then there is less chance to attract the high-altitude sickness. If attract the high-altitude sickness, there is only one idea to descend as soon as possible because mountain always wait us but not wait our life.
